Can we get more details and clarity on having BF1942 Mods to work on BF1942 Origin installs. At the moment even basic.rfa maps are hit and miss, some work and some don't - I am about to dig into the rfa files to see if there are pointers to specific locations assuming all is in an EA GAMES directory. Windows 7 64 bits + 2x GeForce GTX 980 with latest drivers.
Yes, disc version. Tried Origin one, didn't launch. So far Desert Combat Extended doesn't work at all, some other mods it depends on the maps, for example Merciless Creations, specifically Kharnov. Widescreen not working at all is a bigger issue atm.
Widescreen patches that allow new resolutions in-game do work, but the choice is limited. For example, with the team simple patch, I can only go up to 1280x1024 in 4:3.
I tried the various widescreen fixes, I'm still suck in 4:3. Note that the following is my monitor's resolution, but I tried others like the popular 1920x1080x32x60. Tried with the original .exe and this one: http://www.moddb.com/mods/fhrmod/downlo … tch-for-fh

N.B. tried read-only on/off, setting refresh rate to 0, tried many other resolutions... still stuck in 4:3
