This is related to my post on August 20 10:54AM. Windows XP SP3 forced version update to 22.15.3.20.
An expired 30 day trial of NIS that was an update for an active subscription is preventing the new version from activating. The latest Norton Removal/Reinstall tool did not remove or reset the expired trial version that comes back to haunt me every time that I uninstall, run the tool and reinstall. As long as the expired trial is there, the activation fails and the install is not usable.
How do I get rid of, or reset the trial to 30 days?
